Check List - Setup & Pack up Davies Reserve

---Information---

Step by Step

  1. Obtain venue keys from admin ; call Kokki on 0449252169

  2. There are 3 separate keys; key1 opens the pavilion ; key2 opens the equipment cage ; key3 opens the canteen 

  3. Place mobile open partition wall in place forming 2 dressing rooms 

  4. Open away dressing room door

  5. Make sure there 16 chairs in place for the away team

  6. Same again for the home team

  7. Check toilets etc

  8. Let the referee know that the first aid room is theirs 

  9. Open canteen just in case the food trick needs power or if you need to fill up water bottles

  10. Open car park gates; you need the 3.22 key to do this ; the entrance from Huntingdale road and the other from peters street

  11. Time to setup grounds; Open equipment cage with 3.22 key; take out small, medium and large goals ; place them in position

  12. Take out corner flags for the u8/9s ground, same for u10/11/12/13s and again for the u14s up; place them in position

  13. For u8/9 games place pancake pads in position for gk box and Place extra cones in place to shorten ground 

  14. Place chairs in position for substitute bench 5 on each side forming a home and away bench

  15. This is an open spectator event; no restrictions 

  16. Spike down and hammer in u8/9s ground portable goals 

  17. Place first aid stretcher out on ground 

  18. There is always going to be frequently asked questions so in the pavilion there will be extra items for backup like: marshal vests; lines-person flags; ref whistle; refs do yellow cards; 3 match balls of every size e.g. size 3 for u8/9s then size 4 for u10/11/12/13s and size 5 for u14s up; cable ties, electrical tape; a spare first aid kit; toilet supplies; cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner

  19. Pack up; this is critical as everything listed above must be reversed; there are implications if this is not done properly like theft; can’t find things for the following week setup and council wants everything clean and equipment put away 

  20. Your help is vital for the junior operation to work week in week out; you are all wonderful Volunteers and your time is precious: our club needs you and always know how grateful we all are especially when people give up their time and the effort involved for the welfare and protection of our children and others. 

  21. Return keys to admin 

  22. Council has to cut the grass so the spikes used must not be left out in the grass; everything must be put away in order for the protection of all; the equipment gate must not be left open due to theft
