TSS - Backup Referee

OCJFC Team Support System (TSS)

The "Team" behind the "Team"

Backup Referee:

& Linespeople:

If a FFV referee does not attend a "Home" match then it is the duty of the "HOME" team to supply a backup referee. Both team managers must consult and appoint a referee and 1 Linesperson from each club.

All clubs must fulfil all fixtures, regardless of whether or not a Match Official is present to take charge. Failure by any team or club to do so may result in that team is fined. Both team managers must complete the match records (formerly known team sheets); maintain these in an easily accessible location and preferably a safe location.

If the FFV referee turns up at any point of the game, the game must stop when the ball is out next and the referee will take over the game.

Please ensure that players without an FFV ID card do not participate in this match. The appointed match official must ensure that all players taking the field of play are wearing only equipment that is safe to themselves and any other person.

The appointed match official must ensure that the match kick offs at the scheduled kick off time and two equal halves are played. The appointed match official must ensure that the match is played according to the FIFA rules. Most importantly the match official and all responsible parties must ensure that the match is played in a safe manner and that player’s safety is always the most important aspect of the match.

Finally at the completion of the match it is the home clubs responsibility to ensure that both sets of match records are completed correctly and sent to the FFV. Failure to do so may result in additional fines.
